Geeks On Command stands behind its work and keeps refund policies simple. This policy explains how refunds work for downloadable content, computer service labor, parts, software, and Data Recovery Services.
Downloadable Content Refunds
Downloadable content purchased directly from the Geeks On Command website may be refunded within 90 days of purchase for any reason.
This includes our $.01 downloadable ebook and any future downloadable guides, ebooks, checklists, templates, training materials, or digital resources sold through our website.
If you request a refund within 90 days of purchase, we’ll refund the full purchase price to your original payment method whenever possible. For the $.01 ebook, this means we’ll refund the full penny.
You do not need to return, delete, or prove anything to request a downloadable content refund.
How to Request a Downloadable Content Refund
To request a refund for downloadable content, contact us within 90 days of purchase.
Please include the email address used for the purchase, the name of the item purchased, and the approximate purchase date so we can locate the order.
30 Day Service Guarantee
Computer service labor is covered by our 30 Day Service Guarantee. If your computer experiences the same symptoms it had before the original service, we’ll resolve the covered issue at no additional labor cost.
Warranty service may be performed remotely when possible, even if the original service was completed in person.
If we cannot provide a reasonable solution to the covered issue, we’ll provide a full refund for the covered labor charges.
In cases where the technician determines that replacement is more practical than continued repair, replacement may be considered a reasonable solution.

What the Service Guarantee Covers
- 30 days of coverage from the original service date
- Follow up labor for the same symptoms reported during the original service
- Remote warranty service when possible
- A refund of covered labor charges if we cannot provide a reasonable solution
What the Service Guarantee Does Not Cover
- Malware re infection after the original Virus Removal Service
- Damage caused by liquid, power surges, misuse, drops, or other incidents after service
- Issues not disclosed to the technician during the original service
- Problems caused by outdated, unlicensed, pirated, or illegally obtained software
- Peripheral device problems not addressed during the original service, including printers, webcams, speakers, scanners, and similar devices
- Problems caused by disregarding our technical guidance or undoing our system fixes
- System changes made by third parties, including other users, technicians, or IT departments
- Hardware issues caused by incompatible or underpowered parts
- Problems unrelated to the original service
- Data Recovery Services, which are covered separately
Parts, Hardware, and Software
This Refund and Returns Policy does not apply to parts, hardware, replacement components, accessories, software, licenses, subscriptions, or other third party products purchased for computer services or repairs.
Parts and software are subject to the return, refund, and warranty policies of the seller, manufacturer, or software provider.
Geeks On Command does not mark up parts. Customers are welcome to purchase parts directly from the seller whenever possible. We encourage customers to keep the original receipts, order confirmations, warranty documents, and product packaging so they can use any seller or manufacturer warranty directly.
If Geeks On Command helps identify, order, install, or configure a part, that assistance does not make Geeks On Command responsible for the part’s return eligibility, manufacturer warranty, product defect, shipping issue, seller policy, or future replacement coverage.
Customer Purchased Parts
Customers may purchase their own parts, hardware, or software for use during a service appointment.
If a customer supplied part is defective, incompatible, damaged, delayed, missing accessories, or not accepted for return by the seller, Geeks On Command is not responsible for those costs or outcomes.
Labor used to diagnose, install, test, remove, or troubleshoot customer supplied parts may still be billable unless the labor is covered by our 30 Day Service Guarantee.
Data Recovery Services
Data Recovery Services are not covered by our standard service guarantee or downloadable content refund policy.
Data Recovery Services follow their own process, pricing, approval steps, and guarantee terms. When applicable, customers receive a list of recoverable files before approving the recovery.
Payment and refund rules for Data Recovery Services are handled separately from downloadable content, computer service labor, parts, and software.
Refund Timing
Approved refunds are submitted as soon as reasonably possible. The time it takes for the refund to appear depends on the payment processor, card issuer, bank, or payment provider.
Policy Scope
This policy applies only to purchases made directly through Geeks On Command.
Purchases made through third party sellers, manufacturers, app stores, software companies, marketplaces, or outside vendors are controlled by that third party’s policies.
